This years’ edition of the hugely anticipated StarQt Awards is up and rolling after the organisers recently declared the nominations open.

South Africa based Ugandan fashion designer and lead organiser of the awards; Stella Nankya revealed that this year’s edition will be bigger and better since all Africans living in South Africa will be recognized.

“In Last year’s awards, we only recognized the outstanding Ugandans based here but this time round, we have chosen to also include our fellow outstanding Africans; from all over the continent in a bid to appreciate their exceptional contribution towards making life better in this country,” she said.

The awards will seek to recorgnise and reward the excellence of the best business personalities, models, artistes, educational facilities; as well as individual virtue.

These awards will be premiered on Saturday 30th May; while the award ceremony will take place at Johannesburg City Hall on Saturday, the 5th of September this year. Stella revealed that star comedian; Anne Kansiime will grace the awards premier.
